Hello everybody! My name is Martina and I’m 18 years old. I’m currently attending the last year of the High School focused in scientific subjects. In spite of this, I’m particularly keen in languages. Thus, besides my mother-tongue, Italian, I speak a fluent English, a good Spanish and I have a basic knowledge of German. CFMUNESCO2016 will be my 6th MUN in five years of High School. As soon as I had such an opportunity, I grabbed it with a lot of enthusiasm. I went to London, to Barcelona and to Dublin as a delegate. Moreover, I participated to both the previous editions of our own MUN, CFMUNESCO. In particular, last year I covered a relevant role in the Executive Team, as I was the President Chair of the UNESCO Committee, our peculiarity. This year I have been promoted as the new Secretary General of the conference. I will be the first girl to have this role in our conference, and it’s such a great honour for me. I’ve always been interested in international agreements, in sharing ideas with new friends and in getting to know foreign cultures, that’s why I also enjoy travelling around the world. Nowadays, having had all these experiences I can honestly admit that the world of MUNs is the most inspiring and helpful to tackle real life. Our motto, To protect and preserve, implies working together, cooperating as we are the real UN delegates, and I’m pretty sure you all together will succeed in it in the best way you can. With the sincere hope to attend fruitful and stimulating debates in all committes, I wait for you all here in Cividale in December. See you soon, then!
